Think of what it would be like to be a member of the Royal Family that is getting married and receiving some very unusual wedding gifts. Each package holds a mystery that could come from any part of the world. Just what do you get for someone who has everything?

A Tennis Court

What summer home is complete without its private tennis court. Crown Prince Frederick and Crown Princess Mary of Denmark received a tennis court of their own by the whole Danish city of Sonderborg.

A 1,000 Pound Block Of Cheese

In 1840, farmers decided to gift Queen Victoria and Prince Albert at their wedding with cheese made from the milk of 750 cows. The farmers wanted to show off the accomplishment and asked for the cheese to be exhibited. The queen complied with the request but did not accept the cheese after the showing was over.

Peat

Known to be a lover of gardens and agriculture, Prince Charles was given 2,000 pounds of peat from the town of Somerset when he married Diana. It was designated to be used on his estate.

Ingredients For A Wedding Cake

Rationing was in place when Prince Philip and Queen Elizabeth tied the knot during WWII. Thankfully, girl guides from Australia came to the rescue and sent all the ingredients to make a wedding cake fit for a royal couple.

A Giant Portrait Jigsaw Puzzle

Felipe, Prince of Asturias married Letizia Ortiz Rocasolano in 2004 and received a giant portrait jigsaw puzzle from people of Oviedo. The puzzle arrived assembled by the people who visited an area shopping center.

A Tandem Bicycle

Prince William and Kate received a tandem bike by then London’s mayor Boris Johnson in 2011. Made in the style of a “Boris Bike”, he wished the couple well on their wedding day and hoped to see them riding the bike publicly. To this day, no one has announced to have seen the royal couple riding the bike.

An Indian Bull

When Meghan and Prince Harry got hitched, the couple learned they had adopted an Indian Bull with health problems as a wedding gift. The bull is now in better condition, and residing in a sanctuary in Maharashtra, India, living a healthier life of peace and plenty.

A Yacht

In 1956, Prince Rainier of Monaco and Princess Grace Kelly became the proud owners of the yacht named Arion. The vessel was gifted by Aristotle Onassis and used for day excursions on the Mediterranean Sea to entertain VIP guests.
