Mandy Moore<\/strong> first won millions of hearts for her singing skills, but now the acting side of her has been winning millions of hearts around the world thanks to This is Us<\/strong>. Her skills and looks are so amazing that some people forget or don\u2019t have the idea that she\u2019s only 35 years old.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It\u2019s not just the fans who have noticed her talent. Moore has even won Screen Actors Guild awards for her acting, and this year, she also got her first Emmy nomination for her character Rebecca<\/strong>. This is Us<\/strong> is famous for going back in time, and Moore is doing the same outside the show. She has started her music career again.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Rose to prominence<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Moore first became famous 20 years ago with her debut single \u201cCandy\u201d and album So Real, that too when she was 15 years old. Her fame launched at about the same time as the craze for boys bands like NSYNC and the Backstreet Boys was soo high. Her song \u201cI want to Be With You\u201d became her biggest hit to this date.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She made her movie debut in 2011 opposite Anne Hathway in the movie The Princess Diaries. The next year she was part of Nicholas Sparks\u2019 romantic film A Walk to Remember.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Although her music career started to decline, her acting career was achieving new heights with her earning strong critics reviews for her movie Saved. She always gave out her voice for Disney\u2019s Tangled character Rapunzel.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As with time, Moore started to struggle to get movies and had to appear in few TV pilots that didn\u2019t get her much success either. She was thinking of giving up when she got the script of This is Us<\/strong>. And now as they say rest is history, since then she has been riding high as Rebecca<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

After rediscovering her acting career, Moore has now been working to revive her singing career. Present-day, she has married to Taylor Goldsmith of the band Dawes, who has been helping her in reviving her music career. She has also released two new songs I\u2019d Rather Lose and When I Wasn\u2019t watching. She is all set to release a new album, and she will start a music tour in 2020. Listeners will find that she had evolved considerably from her bubblegum voice 20 years ago. Now, she has a more adult contemporary voice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
